3D Printing & Production Systems with Soluble Support Technology (SST) have revolutionized desktop rapid prototyping by providing parts that are durable AND that are easy to post-process.

Support Cleaning Apparatus (SCA)

Delivering Effective Support Removal with Robustness and Ease of Use

With the addition of a Support Cleaning Apparatus (SCA), this process is even easier and more efficient. The Support Cleaning Apparatus was developed by PADT's engineers to meet the needs of real world users. Engineers who sell, use, and support Stratasys 3D printers.

Simple and robust, the design has many features that developed out of day-to-day usage of previous cleaning options. Each sub-system on the Support Cleaning Apparatus can be field replaced by your Stratasys support provider.

Designed by Users for Users

As a provider of Rapid Prototyping services since 1994, and a user and distributor of Stratasys systems since their introduction, PADT has a wealth of real world knowledge that was used to design the Support Cleaning Apparatus. The development team also consulted with sales and support people from Stratasys and other distributors to determine what features were required in a robust, easy to use, and affordable tool for removing water soluble supports from parts.

The result is the Support Cleaning Apparatus's ease of use, maintenance, and repair. The system includes the following key features:

  • Integrated sealed pump
  • Integrated heater
